If it was tomato or orange juice that had major benefits against diseases like psoriasis, PTSD, etc. the FDA's answer would be to make artificial juice, and then they'd approve it.
It's sad, but until the Congress, the Federal Govt. and the FDA can collectively get their heads out of their asses, the rest of the world will be seeing the benefits of drugs developed from cannabis while the State's and Federal Govts. are arguing about their use, and whether all products must be made within the State where they're being marketed.
Right now 29 State's have in some way legalized cannabis, but if even all 50 did, but the Federal Govt still failed to, we would still have problems. It's not about Congress writing legislation that prevents Session's from acting in State's where it's legal, what's needed is a Congress willing to make it Federally legal, and an FDA who doesn't care how a wonder drug is made, but rather that it's a drug worthy of being legally sold anywhere it can be prescribed within the U.S.
