I posted on other board today. Analogy to IPIX

Analogy to IPIX path to date:
You set out to grow the greatest apple in the world from a tree that will be totally pest and drought resistant. The crop from each tree will be worth a small fortune and the trees you are planning to grow will cost next to nothing.
You plant the apple seed.
You watch the seed sprout into a plant.
You watch the plant grow into a small stick of quite small size.
You watch that stick begin to enlarge into a young tree.
You watch that young tree start to bud out and the beginnings of fruit start to appear.
Now does anyone expect fruit to have been taken from the tree prior to this point? What would one think of those that are bemoaning the fact the tree must be a failure as it has yet to produce fruit, even though it is still too young to bear fruit?
The tree matures into a fruit bearing tree.
Now one finds out whether the tree is a success or not. Testing of the fruit is the only way to find out if the tree is worth its weight in gold or just a failed attempt.
We are at the point where the fruit of the drugs produced are now being tested; do the drugs work in humans to prevent or cure deadly and debilitating diseases and conditions?
All questions prior to now were just smokescreens and anyone expecting results prior to finished testing would most likely be looked upon as a clown, a complete fool.
