No one should think that you are a basher, petemantx. Some of us here have "known" you a long time and you have been honest and straightforward. Questions that help illuminate issues are good -- some of us who have been here a long time sometimes forget that we take things for granted that newer investors may not know. Or, there may be matters of science or financial interpretation in which some of us have skills that others lack.
As for your question
There's a very good reason why those people are calling for a low-ball sale. They've posted for years things like this (from memory, but an accurate one):
Now why would bashers who have viciously attacked the SCIENCE of the company as well as the character of the CEO and chief medical officer be screaming for a deal?
Because their employer desperately wants to buy IPIX's intellectual property for close to nothing, that's why.
I have said for years that I thought a big pharma has been using Mako as a front to bash the stock, or at least is collaborating with Mako and/or a hedge fund. Eventually I think the truth is going to be known and it isn't going to be pretty -- for them, and their basher buddies.
I do think that some of the bashers are just sickening sociopaths who are involved with small traders' gangs, and are not involved or even cognizant of the real agenda behind the criminal attacks on IPIX. They're just remoras who are following along the big shark.
