I'm with you. I don't leave shares parked in penny stocks until I have converted them to "free". I like having risk free, "lottery" shares. If the trading action will not support accomplishing this, I move on. I am NOT a day trader although I trade across a wide array of issues daily. There IS a distinctive difference. How long I hold free shares is dependent on many factors including management. I maintain contemporaneous records of the daily trading on many stocks so I have a feel for how much is loaded at every level. I find this valuable to determining when to make moves either buying or selling. Good luck on your strategy, it sounds well thought out. BTW, a large number of my posts here get deleted.
