There really aren't any good treatments for OM, so it doesn't surprise me that doctors didn't even try. That so-called drug for it costs something like $11k and it is ineffective. There are people who had GoFundMe pages so they could afford it, and then they said it didn't help anyway. A quack treatment that takes advantage of very sick people. Just appalling.
It's hard to believe that every patient wouldn't insist on getting Bril-OM, if they knew that it existed. In the day of TV ads for drugs, this seems like a no-brainer.
