ROTH Account - reminder to reduce USGL taxes At
Post# of 41413
At this share price, it might be a great time to convert any of your BLTA shares to a ROTH IRA (new or deposit) for 2017. Ask your brokerage how best to do this without selling shares. For the last 3 years, Fidelity helped me transfer cash or shares between my non-retirement account AND my IRA into a ROTH account.
Since there is potentially a big upside to the share price of BLTA, I've been putting as many shares of BLTA into my ROTH account so that when I eventually sell BLTA shares, I don't have to pay taxes on the share appreciation from today's value to the sell price.
Win-win!
Good luck to future USGL Frequent Flyers!
