Ocera Therapeutics Selected to Present an Oral Presentation and Three Posters on OCR-002 at the AASLD Liver Meeting® 2017

(NASDAQ:OCRX), today announced that four abstracts related to clinical study findings of OCR-002 (ornithine phenylacetate) in development for the treatment and prevention of hepatic encephalopathy (HE) have been selected for presentation at The Liver Meeting® 2017, the 68th Annual Meeting of the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (AASLD), being held October 20-24, 2017, in Washington, D.C.

Ocera is preparing to meet with FDA later this year to review the i.v. program and discuss potential development paths forward.
