I just can't let IHUB go to the dark side without

I am amused reading the shortsighted posts describing how IPIX has been a failure to date due to financial position, stock price, and lack of partnerships.
How many great ideas/athletes/etc bring in the big bucks until they have proved themselves worthy of a big contract?
In biotech, all pre-clinical studies are viewed with a jaundiced eye due to the numerous factors that can doom a drug. Thus, it is strictly minor leagues.
The big leagues start with clinical trials. Just as a baseball player works his way up thru the minors and his value increases at every jump in quality of the league he is playing in, so too do drugs as they proceed down the clinical trials pipeline. The only difference is that there is no shortcut in biotech, you may get a large partnership early in the game but that is pretty rare. Normally, things don't start popping until at least the end of Phase II.
Since IPIX will only be entering this realm in Q4, expecting them to have amassed great financial strength prior to results is ludicrous. What they have amassed is a wealth of scientific advisors that are leaders in their fields of expertise, a host of BP's closely following their drugs as evidenced by CDA's, respect in the biotech/financial community as evidenced by being invited to presentations such as they gave yesterday, and a core of solid long term investors who are holding on to their stock with no intention to let it go before results are in.
It is sad all we hear on this board is mainly the cuts and jibes from traders putting out any BS so as to facilitate their trading games.
There are still a handful of good posters here who provide investors such as me with wonderful DD and perspective and it is them who I only follow. Eliminate the chaff and the board is OK.
