Cannabis Science and Free Spirit Organics Native American Corporation Report Positive Analytical Lab Results From Its 250-Acre, Industrial Hemp Research Project in San Joaquin Sovereign Tribal Free Land MBS, California

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 5, 2017) - Cannabis Science, Inc. (OTC PINK: CBIS), a U.S. company specializing in the development of cannabinoid-based medicines, and Free Spirit Organics Native American Corporation (FSO NAC) are pleased to announce significantly positive analytical lab testing reports from its San Joaquin Sovereign Tribal Free Land MBS, Industrial Hemp Project. Initial analytical reports from the first cut plants reveals that the strains being used are well within the boundaries of laws and regulations placed on industrial hemp research projects of this sort.

The lab results from the 2017 CBIS/FSO NAC MBS001 initial harvest show values of THC 0.26% and CBD at 5%. This is a critical initial sign with a ratio of CBD to THC for the strains tested since these strains were chosen specifically for this reason. Industrial Hemp has certain regulatory levels of cannabinoids allowed for legal regulatory status across the country. As compared to cannabis the cannabinoid levels are much lower in hemp, which gives it a much lower overdose concern from misuse, abuse, and public consumption.

A Robust University Infrastructure Focused on Education and Job Creation

With the Universities at the helm, their main function is the complete oversight and mind mapping of the Native American educational and economic development initiative by extensively using its research and development programs:

1. A primary goal of Raymond C. Dabney University (RCDU), a school of Law, Business, and Healthcare, is to provide financially-challenged communities a creative and affordable opportunity to acquire a quality education beginning with structured and regulated programs in each of its three main curriculums along with its entrepreneurial job creation program.

2. American States University (ASU) is an intricate part of each land package deal with CBIS/FSO NAC, along with RCDU it expects to provide full scholarships and additionally subsidized education packages from its 37 Trade Industries including alternative medicines to members of the Native American community and any other challenged individuals to grow with the initiative.

Our agricultural research programs drive our pharmaceutical and alternative medicines programs. Our alternative medicines program is designed to drive our success. Our University Alternative Medicine program, which grows out of our Agriculture training program integrates several of our programs and becomes a comprehensive educational and economic development approach wherever we create our project. We have the following infrastructure:

1. ASU has an alternative medicine program that it has been approved for by the state of California.

a. We will use this program to create curricula for each of the areas of economic development for the creation of alternative medicines.

b. We point out each target indication cannabinoid drug development program will also include covers the development of alternative medicines.

2. We will create curricula for each area that will include:

a. Regulatory compliance

b. Company creation and structure

c. Department Management teams and operating staff

d. Planting to Harvest

e. Laboratory testing to formulation creation

1. The development of alternative biofuels,

2. The development of construction materials from plants,

3. The development of clothing materials,

4. The development of automobile parts, and

5. The development of rope and strings.

For the remainder of 2017, the San Joaquin Sovereign Tribal Free Land MBS in California, Cannabis Science and FSO NAC will continue working closely in sync with the Universities chosen for this substantial research project. The main goals are to vertically integrate operations to provide a large amount of many jobs throughout the community in agriculture, education, healthcare training, construction, and general retail services for the completion of the 2017, CBIS/FSO NAC MBS001 harvest;

(1) To include Academic and vocational training covering each applied industry;

To date, there have been approximately 25-30 part-time workers hired so far, and it is expected that another 50-75 people will be hired before the harvest is completed. The harvesting process is very labor intensive and very seasonal until the staggering process has been completed for year around harvesting. At that point, the Company expects there will be constantly new jobs being created as the employment requirement will substantially increase to the number of full-time permanent staff to increase substantially living in the area to service the full 250 acres for this project and any required expansions.
