They could make it expensive if they identified the computer the poster was using, and banned any posts from that machine, but that would only encourage bashers to post using public machines which if banned would result in others not being able to use computers in places like public libraries to post. Frankly, I would just as soon see this not regulated rather than having all sorts of new I.D.'s being created.
I don't know what new form Mario will take, but suspect that other forms already exists, so a new name is hardly needed. Basher's and pumper's may slightly affect day to day pricing, pump and dump efforts from posters followed by big numbers of investors can more greatly effect the market, but in the long run it will be the company's actions that determine where the stock will be priced, and none of the above can greatly effect that.
