Only insiders know for sure, but I believe the resignation of one of the Epic directors and this volume are related. If I recall correctly, the Series E is convertible at any time at the option of Epic and also as I recall at prices that are still below market. I did not look at the trading patterns today, but my guess is that it was done carefully so as to maintain the pps as much as possible. This is consistent with trading patterns of holders that have many more shares to trade out in the future. IMO it does not necessarily signal that EPIC is upset or that a hammer is about to drop but that they may have just wanted to take some money off the table. Of course another possibility is that you were selling a significant portion of your holdings.
