I was there a few weeks. In the fall.
The entire area is as a state park.
Fantastic place.
I did check out the world's tallest ski lift / off season.
You could feel winter coming. whoa.
A very strange sense of it all. I left in time, end of October.
It has a lot of cliffs and of course a real winter on the way.
I did get all the way up to Copper Harbor.
The end of the road on its own peninsula. U.S. #41 goes
down through Florida to the Atlantic.
Anyway. It was wonder of a place. Beautiful.
I went there with a friend coming up from Texas
with his new girl friend a local from the U.P. / Norway Mi.
