Indeed; 'If it can be done at all.' Or even in using QDots, at all...the chart in that article helped put the variety of competing platforms in perspective. No sure thing there & even if QD's win-out, based on the metrics shown so far, you may-well be right regarding trivial quantities needed. Personal conclusion; unless I'm reading this all wrong (which is a distinct possibility), QD's in Q-puting may be all well & fine, but commercially inconsequential in terms of QDot quantities needed....much the same as QD-lasers.
Conversely; there appears to be a lucrative supply-side future in QD-displays, sensors of all kinds, optics, conceivably solar & a myriad of other viable apps.
