You're also assuming that Gerry David is somehow suddenly not willing to turn one more company that he's heavily invested in into a huge profit machine. This is what he does, and I don't think you'll have much luck coming up with examples of him intentionally trashing companies that pose a threat to his investments by working his way into the wheelhouse and scuttling the ship.
Where did that idea get hatched? LieHub? LOL
Celsius is not "his" baby, he went in and helped save the brand from certain death and brought profit to all invested including himself. It now appears that he feels considerably more enthusiasm for Rocky Mountain High Brands and intends to pursue the opportunity to it's full potential.
It would have made more sense for him to remain the CEO of Celsius, NOT invested in RMHB, and simply added a hemp infused line of products to Celsius which was already rolling after much hard work on his part. No, I think he believes that Rocky Mountain High Brands has much more potential to go way further, and much larger than Celsius.
In the business world, loyalty is contractual or non-existent for the most part. If it appears that Rocky Mountain High Brands actually hurts Celsius that badly, I'm sure at that point Gerry and Kevin will be putting their investment capital behind the winner, NOT the loser. One thing to remember is that the same strong selling points that sparked enthusiasm in many of us long term investors over 2 1/2 yrs. ago have apparently grabbed the attention of a pair of heavy hitters. The brand name and the hemp infusion. They intend to make this into a giant.
