this is the new age book i was talking about which argued that we are in a normal feedback loop which will cause a new ice age- i rejected the new age components of the book while finding their arguments re this feedback loop interesting
then i saw alan alda hosting a pc show by secular scientists arguing the same feed back loop-that global warming will cause a release of so much greenland ice sheet freshwater melting (we've already seen that melting rise) into the atlantic that it will shut down the warm gulf current which brings tropical heat to and makes northern europe livable (unlike siberia), causing another ice age.
