I've heard others say the Safety Trial was expanded, but you're the first I can remember to say they're expanding it to patients with skin problems. If this is the case, great, but I really wish they'd document what they're doing.
The expansion of the type you're talking about is really what should be referred to as a Phase 1/2 where the Phase 2 portion should be a defined trial. Perhaps this trial is what Mediq has referred to as well, but it would be nice if they cleared this up by actually going into the clinical trials database and updating it.
If in fact this is what's happening, I believe that they could report on the Phase 1 portion as it completes, as well as announcing all the different skin conditions they intend to try the cream on in the Phase 2 portion of the trial.
An update of the clinical trials database in this manner would be big news and would establish some validity to what they're doing. In not doing that, shareholders are clearly being kept in the dark.
