I'm about 99% sure you are correct. The Songbirds certification is only for up to 10 737-400 aircraft. I think USGlobals theory is that it's cheaper to aquire the Songbird certification with a 737 and start making revenue to the Caribbean destinations and then work towards adding the 767 or 777 to the certification. I would imagine the cost to aquire an airline with a 767 or 777 certification and leasing a 767 or 777 would be 2-3 times what they are purchasing Songbird for. Just my opinion though.
