Watching the fight replay highlights on You Tube.
I see that McGregor lost.
Up to this point round #4 it has been McGregor.
If this had been an MMA fight Mayweather wouldn't
have made it out of the 1st round.
This is the first time I have gotten to see & be able to
tell the difference between boxing and MMA.
Boxing seems now like half a fight.
And Mayweather keeps turning his back and waiting
for the ref to bail him out. What a travesty !!
I am turned off and I am only in round #4.
I may watch the rest of it this morning just to
see what happened. I am though done with overly
proud 'smack' boxers who brag on their 1/2 a fight.
I've not been a special fan of MMA. I have criticisms there.
But this fight tells a whole story. I will never see boxing
the same again. MMA is a full throated man's fight.
I would change some things to make it better, but ..
The show of a defensive boxer started with Ali's rope a dope.
Mayweather spent most of the fight turning his back, surviving
his opponent, a real fighter.
This is the most cowardly boxing match or fight I have ever seen.
Now "Money" can call it being smart turning his back asking for
the ref. Well isn't that the way of things these days. Smart cowards.
I gave Mayweather rounds #5 #6 #7, Draw round #4 #8,
McGregor rounds #1, #2, #3. Knockout #9, #10.
McGregor apparently says he will not box again.
If I were him I would dare every friggin' boxer in the
world to one MMA fight.
There will be no challenger I guarantee that.
Even pay for it just to see them get their's.
Shake ma head.

I would lose at boxing as a kid getting punched in the face too much.
(and lose at pinball / eye on the pinball or fist too long/ mental i guess)
I'd take the gloves off and let's "fight" -- very few takers.
