all very true- so much has been forgotten-history has been thrown into the trash bin because otherwise humans might learn from it or even take courage from past leaders-
or manipulated as in historical revisionism to usually support political correctness and or the arrogance of the present generation
e.g as you say, slavery was a worldwide institution built into many societies,including africa and the native americans- both groups regularly raided other tribes and took slaves and trafficked in slaves- I've read that pocahantas was taken as a slave in one such tribal raid in her youth and the lewis and clark expedition accidentally became an instrument to return to her people
africans trafficked and sold their own people in frequent intertribal warfare (they've voluntarily brought that heritage to the civilized world in the form of gang culture instead of learning the lessons of the past),so when primarily the south ran out of white indentured servants they naturally though selfishly -almost everything is about greed -looked for another supply.
American natives were considered savages so they took advantage of the already existing/ flourishing slave culture of the african tribes to find new slaves- political correctness of this generation wrongly boils everything down to racism (nothing is said of culture,which is where most strife occurs - not race) but it was mostly about greed and selfishness and they simply ran out of the available supply of white slaves (how is that racism-they ran out of the white slaves first!!!-only then did they look elsewhere for an existing slave culture market-stupidity ignorance and greed).
but the same greed that motivated the plantation owners for economic reasons motivates the harmed groups who usually blame all their problems on just one race of people who took advantage of their own peoples slave culture -that is reverse racism-which is not even recognized by political correctness. Very few wise voices point out the tragedies that befell their people in africa -which were accidentally avoided by their transplantation out of africa.
Mortality rates were 70% til ww1 partly because germs were unknown to the populace and even doctors.
Doctors would go from working on cadavers to childbirth without even washing their hands. Finally one doctor who became an administrator of a hospital ca 1910? commanded the doctors to wash between patients. When hospital mortality thus declined it became a common practice.
So medicine -other than madame curie?didnt know about germs until ca ww1. Yet native americans see columbus as the devil purposefully coming here for no purpose other than to racially destroy their people w european diseases. Columbus and most of his crew were fleeing religious persecution-the inquisition -and their ship left spain on the very last day they were allowed to be there!
Each group is so full of crap they cant see the truth. A possessed indian chief and his cult went about illegally occupying white peoples homes (most of the ones i've known have an absolutely demonic hatred of whites) on the self serving basis the "whites have no right to this land" and would teach witchcraft and satanism to the occupants kids.The police would never help-they are easily controlled by witchcraft due to their own cultures fables-so people would call on me to evict the trespassers.
And, as you say, due to the dark ages of allopathic medicine the average lifespan til ww1 was only 47.
No safety net whatsoever-now an entitled generation that has no knowledge of a time before medicine electricity plumbing internet cell phones youth culture etc expects to be taken care of from the cradle to the grave as a right.
I/ve already survived many decades of assassination attempts because,having grown up in a witchcraft cult by birth, i would not worship satan- the god behind political correctness- and am tired of a species which has rejected the ability to even listen, let alone consider, let alone accept ,the truth,and so i say these things where few are willing to tread, just like you.
