I think they bought the company as an investment. Sky King went Bankrupt for mismanaging the airline. I believe that Aersale leased them the 737-400. AerLine Holdings LLC already have an existing Airline ( Xtra Airways) that is doing very well! I'm curious how much AerLine got Sky King for? Maybe it was acquired through a deal from late payments of the leased plane? Just a guess. If it is less then what they are selling Songbird for now or it was acquired as a deal for late payment, we know our answer why they are selling! No reason to have two like Airlines!
