If Mediq truly does a small, essentially Phase 2 trial, or trials, where patients with psoriasis, and perhaps other skin diseases try the cream, definitive results could be seen in months. I would frankly believe someone with serious psoriasis would know after less than a week if it was improving, however, how great an improvement, and how sustained it is would take several weeks, or months.
The question in my mind is, do such trials get publicized in a database in Germany, like the clinical trials database here, and could they actually be included in that database, or will such trials simply be run independently by Mediq once it's know that the cream is safe to use. I don't believe that any such trial will be initiated until it's clear the cream has no safety issues, or that such issues are identified, and it's safe to proceed at some specified dosage level.
