According to the new rules, your reply should be deleted because it could stir up another debate on naked shorting. You get to post your daily # and I get to post one response and that's it. But I won't delete your post and hopefully my reply won't be deleted by my fellow mods.
Biotechs are news-driven. Last year the stock ran up to ~$2 in anticipation to the P result. Earlier this year the stock had a mini run-up to $1 in anticipation to B-UP. If the naked shorts are in full control, they wouldn't let it happen. We are still two months away from B-OM data and 3-4 months away from P data. You'll see a similar run-up as we get closer.
IMHO the most important reason for the current SP weakness is that the market doesn't think IPIX has the financial ability to bring any drugs to market. When the cash concerns are solved via partnerships, not even the boogeyman will defend the naked shorts theory.
