Oh god the NP-1. That's such a sore spot to me. That was when I should have bailed on the company. I still had a meager profit by the time they decided to end production, assuming there was any sort of real major production/distribution. I know some were produced, but I'm not sure how many, and I'm skeptical of the numbers we were hearing at the time, for obvious reasons now.
There's nothing going to happen with these guys. Unfortunately for all us old-school longs, I just don't believe they can pull this off. This Apple thing is just the latest pump in years of pumping this stock printing machine.
As always, I want to be wrong and certainly hope they can turn this around, but I just don't feel they have the knowledge or business acumen to pull it off. They had momentum a couple years ago. They let things slow to a crawl, and I fear that's the end of this game, at least for my personal investment. They would have to have PPS hitting close to a dollar for me to break even, and I just don't see that happening. Not anymore.
