Democrats Can't Psychologically Handle Prospect of Trump 2020

Radio host and author Tammy Bruce remarked that Democrats are clearly psychologically unprepared for President Trump to run against them in 2020.

Democrats are currently researching Vice President Mike Pence, Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, and Ohio Governor John Kasich in anticipation of the next presidential race.

Bruce said Dems are doing opposition research because "they have no bench."

"They need to be researching people who can run as Democrats," Bruce told host Stuart Varney.

"They also can't psychologically handle the fact of the matter that the president's going to re-run in 2020."

The Democratic National Committee stated it is "ready for all scenarios." None of the potential GOP candidates that have caught the DNC's eye have said they are running in 2020.

Vice President Pence blasted rumors that he had his eye on the presidency, calling the reports offensive to him and his team, and even to his family.

"Whatever fake news may come our way, my entire team will continue to focus all our efforts to advance the president’s agenda and see him re-elected in 2020."

Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) raised eyebrows on Monday when she said it is "too difficult to say" whether Trump will be nominated by the GOP again for 2020.
