Opening a store in the past with limited materials

Opening a store in the past with limited materials to offer didnt make sense..it would have been like opening a corner store and only having milk and eggs to sell.Now that they have developed a line of materials ( now we know what the staff at QMC was doing the past 6 months or more ) they have put themselves into the business of selling large and small orders to a wider customer base.
