No one claims the scientific method is infallible. It's trial and error by nature.
And the fact that there were naysayers didn't prevent the advancements you mentioned, did they.
The difference between science and your conspiracy theories is that hypotheses are tested and discarded if found wanting.
Have you ever abandoned any of your conspiracy theories in the face of evidence that conclusively proves their falsity?
