Kodak and Carrefour Extend Relationship
Eastman Kodak Company today announced it has extended its relationship with Carrefour, the world’s second largest retailer, to offer retail and online printing services to customers. The renewal of the multi-year agreement enables the two market leaders to provide consumers with a complete photo shopping experience, and designates Kodak as Carrefour’s exclusive partner within the photo category for all retail and online printing solutions.
“Carrefour is a valued partner of our Retail Systems Solutions business and we are pleased to extend our relationship with them as together, we continue to offer consumers the highest quality products and services,” said Laura Quatela, President of Kodak and Personalized Imaging. “This latest announcement follows our extension with CVS/pharmacy, which we announced last November, and demonstrates the strong worldwide demand for our solutions. We thank Carrefour for their partnership and look forward to continuing to work with them to grow their photo services business.”
The Carrefour Group has more than 9,500 stores in 30 countries across Europe, Asia and Latin America. In turn, Kodak continues to build on its market-leading installed base of 105,000 KODAK Picture Kiosks worldwide, strengthening its number one global position in both photo kiosks and dry labs.
