War for the Planet of the Apes: Spoiler alert
DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THE MOVIE YET !
Saw this a while back. what a crappy addition to the franchise.
The movie is clearly called, 'War for the Planet of the Apes'.. yet there was NO war. NONE . The ' battle ' scenes you saw in the trailers were humans fighting humans.. and this 'battle' lasted literally three minutes.
UGHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. im venting here because there is no way to directly let the director know how much his movie blows Heikin candles.
I dont understand how hollywood can pump out million dollar movies yet the thought process behind it cost about $1.50. anyone one of us could have come up with the storyline for this movie.
It should have been called, "Crazy Colonel enslaves apes for a bit while humans have at it for three minutes...Of the Apes"
what a waste of money. and i bet the reviews will be stellar. seriously, go watch the movie and find the 'war'. It was at most a sneeze of a battle.

This is why digital effects is RUINING movies. when we watch a movie, we say, "THAT LOOKED SO FAKE!"... who cares if it looked fake?? the point is... was the story line deep and worthwhile? id rather see a monkey movie with fake monkeys on strings with an incredible well thought out plot, compared to a hyper realistic CGI monkey with a crappy plot.
