Effingham, IL, Aug. 09, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- From July 26th - 28th, Heartland Dental welcomed 166 newly supported dentists representing 44 dental schools from around the country, to the company’s Home Office in Effingham, Illinois, for the 2017 Dr. LEADS course.
Each year, Dr. LEADS offers supported dentists three days of valuable learning experiences in a wide variety of clinical and leadership topics. This year’s lineup of speakers included Dr. Mark Hodge, a nationally recognized speaker on topics including Invisalign, patient communication and team engagement. Attendees also learned from international speaker and author on micro-endodontics and endodontic technology, Dr. George Bruder. Featured speakers also included Dr. Rick Workman, founder and executive chairman, Patrick Bauer, president and CEO, and other Heartland Dental leaders. Align Technology CEO, Joe Hogan, also attended and presented.

In addition, the event featured a doctor panel with supported dentists from last year’s Dr. LEADS, who gave this year’s group beneficial advice on finding success in their first year as a newly supported dentist.
