I wouldn't mind, if they have removed all the toxic debts/notes, them doing a reverse split.
If there are 2B shares outstanding and they do a 10 to 1 you're at 200M shares, if thee do a 20 to 1 you're at 100M or even a 50 to 1 and you're at 40M
If the company settles all those bad loans and doesn't need to finance through those types of lenders going forward then a reverse split isn't really damaging.
When you do the reverse, the value of your shares remains the same, the PPS is above the pennies and they can get listed on a better exchange.
The reasons why pennies don't like reverse splits is because the toxic guys who get the Millions of shares at sub, sub, sub penny rates dump all those share depressing the PPS.
