The interim results posted earlier this year showed 22% of patients treated w/ Brilacidin retained severe OM compared to 70% in placebo group. My question is could the dosage of B be increased from that used in this trial to make the mouthwash even more effective than that shown above? Get B-OM working right away with the tested dosage but get another 2B trial going with an even higher dosage to possibly get near universal elimination of OM down the line.
I'm thinking along the lines of the Prurisol trial going from 200 dosage to 300/400 dosage in the later arms to greatly increase efficacy.
