If you were an Apple shareholder, or an ATT shareh

This isn't personal. All they're saying is that the company gets no direct benefit from shares bought on the open market at this point, with the 21 mil of financing in place.
I'm glad that isn't the case. It would mean the folks who tried to short the company into oblivion by buying shares on the open market would have possibly been able to do it.
If it has been misinterpreted, it probably could have stated better.
Some people think that just because they own shares in a company they have some right to dictate how the company functions operationally on a day to day basis.
Again, does Apple or ATT give you the impression you have that kind of influence on how they run their businesses just because you are a shareholder ?
Of course not, because you don't .
With the diverse opinions people have on how to do things, as well as a complete lack of expertise and knowledge at an operational level it would be complete and utter mayhem.
Thats why companies have Boards of Directors and Managers and an infrastructure, processes and procedures on how to do things
Might want to think of it from that perspective instead of being offend by something that is commonplace in the rest of the business.
