The guys only intent was to cause disruption on the board, not to start any kind of constructive dialog about the company or the situation or the reconstruction.
When challenged, he then attempts to intimidate and anger the res-ponder in a private setting.
It's the only thing he can do when he, by his own admission, has no knowledge of the situation beyond old, rudimentary facts of how the situation use to be.
He could care less about that anyway. His main goal is to be disruptive.
If he gave a rats ass about the companies progress he would do some basic DD, talk to the right folks and find out what the company is trying to do.
