Fort Hood, Texas, Aug. 02, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Department of the Army, Army Contracting Command, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Hood issued on Wednesday, August 2 a presolicitation notice regarding a potential firm fixed-price contract covering repairs to 14 bridges in Fort Hood, Texas.
According to the presolicitation notice, the Army intends to award the contract to a contractor with HUBZone certification from the U.S. Small Business Administration, and the contractor who receives the contract must provide all plant, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and transportation necessary to complete this scope of work.
The applicable NAICS Code is 237310, with a size standard $36.5 Million, and the Army anticipates the magnitude of the procurement at between $1 million and $5 million.
According to the presolicitation notice, the Army will release an official solicitation on August 24, and include in this solicitation the response due date. Once the Army awards the contract, the contractor has 210 days to complete the work.
