Washington serves as the housing monitor at the Salvation Army’s homeless shelter in Richmond. Recently, she made local headlines for delivering the child of a resident in the building’s lobby. Her service and dutifulness to her work and her family truly make Washington a “Great Mom” in the eyes of Armour, her coworkers, friends, and her three children.
Armour and Publix hosted an event at the Richmond Salvation Army to celebrate Washington with her family, friends, and fellow coworkers. To recognize her for being a “Great Mom” and community hero, Armour surprised her with a $2,500 gift card to Publix.
