The line between reality and historic events are often times blurred the further the event becomes from current times.
This event..actually... happened in the 1600's :
Tulip Mania

..people spent tens of thousands of dollars on worthless flower bulbs (life savings of the 1600's on bulbs worth less than a tenth of a penny) because the market saw the bulb as 'invaluable'; even though it was speculative.
This is how I see cryptocurrency. Shame on the person questioning it, right? Billions are made every day ( which is true). How dare I say this about BTC/XRP, right?..and yet.. cryptocurrency is in and of itself..
...completely speculative.
Invest wisely so that you dont end up with a pile of flower bulbs. You think everyone invested in BTC/XRP is going to be a billionaire? Many people are betting life savings on BCC which is, as of this post, worth less than a tulip bulb.
History DOES repeat itself; especially when we think, "Ya, but IM smarter than those fools!"
