Trump Convenes New White House Cabinet
President Donald Trump convened his first White House cabinet meeting since his staff shakeup.
Asked about the continuing provocations by North Korea, the president said the situation "will be handled."
"We're gonna be able to handle North Korea. It will be handled. We handle everything," he said.
Trump tapped retired Gen. John Kelly, who was serving as DHS secretary, as his new chief of staff after the departure of Reince Priebus.
Trump was seated between Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Secretary of Defense Gen. James Mattis (Ret.) at the table as he addressed reporters.
At the end of his remarks, a reporter got in a question about North Korea after the rogue regime conducted yet another missile test.
Responding on "America's Newsroom," the former White House chief of staff under President George H.W. Bush, John Sununu said it sounds like the administration "may be hinting that we're about to do something" when it comes to North Korea.
He said a "cyber" response from the United States could occur after Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said he and Trump agreed on the need to take further action against Pyongyang.
