Lisa Boothe: New Dem Message 'Putting a Bow Around

Lisa Boothe slammed Democrats' new message, saying they are merely "putting a bow around garbage."
"Just because you put a bow on garbage it's still garbage, and that's what the Democratic party has been selling Americans, which was rejected," the Washington Examiner writer told host Shannon Bream Monday.
"We're seeing a lot of optimism in what the Republican party and what President Trump can bring Americans in terms of economic growth," Boothe assured.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Sunday called a question "so unimportant" about whether she would be speaker of the House if Democrats win Congress in 2018.
The veteran party leader said the more important conversation is about the Democrats' new message, "a better deal."
She seems "really insecure" about her position, Boothe said.
Pelosi retained her leadership position last November, but one-third of House Democrats supported her inexperienced challenger, Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio.)
