In case someone here read some of that garbage, let me say:
Readers' Digest version: they are a bunch of liars who are panicking and trying to talk the stock price down.
More detailed response:
1) no one there has any inside information
2) There is NO reason to expect Prurisol results on Friday or Monday. The company never promised such a thing.
3) There is no truth to the claim that Prurisol has failed and somehow the bashers magically know about it
4) Prurisol has far fewer side effects (nothing serious) than Otezla and the other biologics. Therefore, even if Prurisol were to prove less effective (for which there is absolutely NO evidence), it is likely that good doctors would try their patients on Prurisol first, then the more dangerous drugs if P failed to work. But again:
There is NO reason to assume that Prurisol is less effective than existing drugs, given the results of the clinical trial to date
5) Tremendous misinformation is being posted there. One poster in particular seems to confuse Brilacidin and Prurisol. Don't believe anything negative you read there. They have no more information than anyone else, and they are posting lies to scare the naive newbie investors away.
6) AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: they are claiming that the future of the company rests on the success of Prurisol. NONSENSE ! ! ! ! Prurisol is certainly not priced into the share price of IPIX. IPIX should be trading at least twice as high, just on the basis of the Brilacidin-UP clinical trial, much less the Bril-OM and Kevetrin trials that are in the pipeline. If Prurisol works great, then swell, that means we can look for a partner and get a whole bunch of cash. If results are inconclusive (which I do not expect, based on the previous results), then the company is still grossly undervalued.
