Interesting to see that there was an attempt to walk back the price, but when someone came and bought near the close, "they" didn't come back and whack it down even though there was plenty of time to do so.
Two possible theories:
1) The war between the traders' gangs (some still short, some covered and went long) rages on;
2) As some have noticed, a false expectation for news Monday -- something that the company has NEVER promised -- is being set up elsewhere, so that they can attempt to whack it down when their fantasy-league "news" fails to materialize. They'd rather whack it from a higher level
3) It's summer
