Network-1 Declares Semi-Annual Dividend

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - July 26, 2017) - Network-1 Technologies, Inc. (NYSE MKT: NTIP) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a semi-annual cash dividend of $0.05 per common share. The semi-annual dividend of $0.05 per share is payable on September 20, 2017 to all common stockholders of record as of September 1, 2017.

In December 2016, the Board of Directors approved the initiation of a dividend policy as part of Network-1's ongoing commitment to increasing shareholder value and return on investment. Network-1's dividend policy provides for the payment of a regular semi-annual cash dividend of $0.05 per common share ($0.10 per common share annually). Network-1 anticipates paying the semi-annual dividends in March and September of each year. It is anticipated that the semi-annual regular dividend will continue to be paid through March 2020 (the expiration of Network-1's Remote Power Patent) provided that Network-1 continues to receive royalties from licensees of its Remote Power Patent.

The dividend policy of Network-1 will undergo a periodic review by the Board of Directors and is subject to change at any time depending on the earnings of Network-1, its financial requirements and other factors existing at the time. Future declarations of semi-annual dividends and the establishment of future record and payment dates are subject to the final determination and discretion of the Board of Directors.
