when my best friends successful construction business was destroyed by the great recession (major retailers mothballed projects 90% complete overnight), in desperation he got into penny stocks at the nadir of the market 3-9-09,making a 40 fold return in 6 months,not enough to save his newly built house from impending foreclosure,so he kept asking me to join him in pennies and that w my profits (ha!) we could prevent his foreclosure.
I resisted bc i had ZERO interest in stocks and figured fraud was rampant-now i know it is in stocks.
But i eventually relented bc i'm a rare giver in a world of extreme takers,other investments were paying zero interest,and after following the proper decision making protocols,figuring my extensive dd approach utilizing accounting economics and law etc degrees,and thus reading 1000's of pennies financial reports and 10q's etc would make our efforts even more profitable. But like everybody else in pennies i was taken by surprise by an unprecedented series of politically motivated frauds.
A politician who had spent some time living in harlem decided ALL business was evil and had to be destroyed/stopped. Saw the sympathetic tv documentary on a liberal network myself. When he gained greater office jan 2009,he was frustrated he could not do anything about big business due to their political and legal etc clout. So in a rage,as part of the greatest dictatorial presidential govt ever seen,he reportedly ordered agencies to target small business,including pennies,greenlighting sec otc dtcc brokers,mm's etc to attack pennies w impunity.
Thus the main mining stock i was in-like thousands of other pennies- was suddenly restricted without warning or due process while brokers etc blatantly violated their fiduciary duty by shorting such stocks into oblivion w the aid of the other agencies etc mentioned. Even the fbi was tasked w stings against these small pennies! So the new hostile environment destroyed countless pennies,including sirg,which experienced a reversal of a previously approved permit,due to the aforesaid politicians political appointees reversing countless previously approved permits and then stonewalling approval,turning previously favorable multi use agencies upside down.
Coupled w recession market forces and the drying of mining VC. So no-like most-my penny investments were beaten up by that unprecedented unconstitutional fraud. And congress has reportedly only approved 30% of the new presidents political appointees,so the holdovers are apparently causing as much trouble as they can for as long as they can.
