As for your 'brainwashed' assertion? I think you've got it backwards.
Fake news originated from the right mainly because their 'audience' is comprised of the most credulous of voters and because so many of them lack critical thinking skills.
Case in point, you're pointing out a satire that nobody else who posts here took for anything BUT a satire. Seriously, a 'restraining order' from the Girl Scouts of America and the tweet dissing the cookies?!

Plus I'm not a conspiracy theorist, preferring instead to employ Occam's Razor, science and an understanding of human nature.......the more people involved in the conspiracy the less likely that no one will be a whistleblower on the conspiracy.
Any one of those methods is usually enough to debunk nonsense.
