I think you are spot on. I spent 25 years in my prior life helping large companies develop complex supply chains and you are definitely correct about the rates to get those containers back to China. This specialty application will have some challenges, but seems feasible from a cost perspective. My biggest concern would be all the trans-loading truck from OK to port, ISO containers or the bladder solution to Chinese port and then truck or rail to the bottling plant. Also not sure of the current imbalance of ISO containers vs. standard steamship line containers. I did see an estimate of $.07-.10 per gallon for bulk water to India, which is likely comparable to China in terms of cost. Not sure what method was being used.
