KB decides to have a 50 th birthday celebration for himself and invites all his friends to celebrate.He rents a hall thats 900 sq ft..all 3 of his friends show up and celebrate sitting down playing scrabble while eating their cake.The doors are closed and its about 70 degrees out ..an hour later the room temperature rises minimally.They pack up and leave for the night.The next day Old Joe has his 60th party and invites all his friends to the sane hall...over 100 attend , its a full house..the party is in full swing with dancing and laughter..no more than a half hour in they have to open the doors because the temperature has risen to an uncomfortable level because of the amount of bodies generating btus.This is a simple example of how we are adding to the heating cycles that the earth goes through over hundreds and thousands of years...over the last hundred years alone the population has exploded ..livestock numbers have exploded...we are burning fossil fuels at alarming rates..clear cutting of forests and jungle basins..Its a box we live in much like that room...more people more btus and CO2..more fossil fuels ...more C02...less trees and rain forests ..less ability to produce oxygen..longer warming periods.There is no doubt we are helping these cycles along.Thousands of years ago the planet wasn't faced with these factors nevermind a few hundred years ago.
As far as Solar vs oil and gas ..I cant ever remember a solar spill or a solar disaster that killed humans..animals ..ocean life
