Re: chemist823 #1275
My good friend Barbara Asbell and a founder of DECN, was fond of saying on the old Yahoo Board, something to the effect that "if the shoe fits, wear it." Engineers should engineer, salesmen should sell, and stock traders should trade stocks. And when roles are altered the outcomes are predictable and not good.

Chemist you are a stock trader and stop pretending. You played the same role on the old Yahoo Board where your postings started on this stock. Nothing wrong with that. But, over the past 12 months you have tried hard to make readers believe that you were sort of an incognito industry guru. And your posting name made that job easier for you.

I agree with you, you would most likely, as a shareholder and trader, accept the so-called second offer. In fact, you would do like most of your kind do, you would sell once the rumored agreement became defined. At that point in time, the stock would most likely trade above the rumored sell level for a short period, as speculators would bet that another higher offer would be coming. You, owing to what you do, would be near the front of the sell line. And there is nothing wrong with that. Just don't try to convince the unwashed that you were, all the time, an incognito industry guru.
