I suspect most people can see that if Mr. Heddle loans money to PTOI and PTOI, under Mr. Heddle's control, pays that borrowed money to Mr. Heddle as compensation in whatever form...that Mr. Heddle will be even while PTOI ends up owing him more money.
My guess is the investors who loaned $600k to PTOI last year did so because Mr. Heddle said he put his own money into the company. However in reality, Mr. Heddle also had complete control over who was paid out of that money. Those investors who invested based on getting 12.5% interest in a lump sum after five years, likely won't ever see a dime of their money again.
