I'm not going to go point by point on your conspiracies. Let's just say that conspiracy is your default 'explanation' when simpler, evidence supported explanations suffice.

The precedents described are NOT the same thing. If for no OTHER reason that there weren't hidden tax returns nor a web of business interests between Russia and the presidents and other people mentioned. That is a very salient difference between then and now.
