You are directing your anger at the wrong guy, and rockford is also. The BOD is in a difficult position and the only sure thing they can do is raise the book value of the company, that will raise the offer level but that will further infuriate the small shareholder base that numbers about 4500 street name people. They will get into a fury over dilution.
Alternatively they can counter any offer and that may buy time. Hiring an expert, in my opinion, might be a trigger for a tender. A valuation expert will take 3-4 weeks to write his report. If GenPrecis product is the reason the company is in play, then the acquisition partner may not wish to wait and would go directly to the shareholder base. And in my opinion 51% of the outstanding shares would take an offer of $0.25. I hope I'm wrong, but I also feel that many would take less and that's how tenders work.
In the end, if there is an end, it will be your shareholder colleagues that sell you out, not me
Angry??? Really?? What makes you think I'm angry... and at you? lol
I'm concerned about my investment as anyone else would be. Being a "loyal shareholder" I hope we get rewarded as stated in the past.
What makes you think 51% would take an offer of 0.25? Is that what the company is hoping for so 51% entity gains control for a pittance of its worth.
Why does the board have a difficult position? What's the deal? Are they broke? If so, How come?
BOD can only raise book value? How about sell strips?
Wasn't it the belief that GenStrip would disturb J&J's Lifescan's annual sales in the tune of around 175 MILLION DOLLARS? and that was for only one product.
I really do find it hard to believe anyone what take 0.25/share. So all the "loyal shareholders" who purchased higher than 0.25 would take that offer?
For me, 0.25 would equate to a decent profit, but I believed in this company/products and also believe it is worth way more.
I truly hope DECN's CFO & BOD create some value here. I believe their loyal shareholders are ready and waiting to be rewarded. Only time will tell.
AMHO.
Good luck to all!
