However the preponderance of blame belongs to those who voted their fears and prejudices because, as they stated, 'he says what I think'.
There was a time when most people had enough self-awareness to NOT vote for a person on that basis.
I discount none of the genuine financial tragedies you describe.
However they fall short of what you imply will be another great recession or worse. I think they're avoidable, but not through voodoo economics, 'dynamic scoring' and the resultant wishful thinking about GDP growth.
That's all on the present crowd holding the presidency and both Houses. There will be no evading blame by any of 'em.
